Working Visit with Representatives from the JICA Balkan Office

Within the framework of bilateral cooperation between our country and Japan, a working visit with representatives from the regional office of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) for the Balkans took place at the NI National Opera and Ballet.

The main focus of this visit was an overview of the implementation of the grant aid from Japan, intended for the complete improvement and technical modernization of musical instruments, sound equipment, and stage lighting at the National Opera and Ballet.

During the meeting, the management teams discussed the results achieved so far, the high standards being established on stage, and the next steps toward finalizing this capital-worthy project for the institution.

Representatives from JICA highlighted their commitment to supporting cultural institutions and expressed satisfaction with the professional approach and dynamics with which all phases of the grant are being realized.
